Drawing on her lived experience and professional credentials, she leads the organization's mission of empowering individuals through peer-led recovery, trauma-informed care, and community rebuilding in the Aurora and Denver metro area.

Adam Abdullah BS,

Consultant | Community Mentor

Adam Abdullah serves as a consultant to The Don't Look Back Center (TDLBC)  A respected community mentor, Adam brings leadership, lived experience, wisdom, and a deep commitment to helping others move forward. He is dedicated to connecting people to opportunities, strengthening communities, and mentoring individuals toward purpose, growth, and lasting change.

Melissa Barone

Clinical Director & Supervisor

Melissa serves as Clinical Director and Supervisor, bringing deep expertise in marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, and addiction treatment. She oversees the center's behavioral health programming, ensures clinical quality, and provides supervision to support staff in delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Christopher Hughes

Christopher leads the day-to-day operations of The Don't Look Back Center as Director of Operations. With credentials in recovery coaching and addiction treatment, he supports staff, coordinates programming, and ensures the organization runs with efficiency, integrity, and a client-first focus.

Kristi serves as Associate Director, overseeing the center's diverse programs with a commitment to cultural competence, trauma-informed care, and lasting recovery outcomes. Torriele Brown

Administrative Assistant & Abstinence Technician

Torriele serves in a dual role as Administrative Assistant and Abstinence Technician, keeping the center organized and welcoming for clients and staff. Her dedication to both operational support and abstinence monitoring helps create a stable, structured environment for everyone at DLBC.

Sharee Talbot

Re-Entry & Forensic Peer Specialist

Sharee is a Certified Peer and Family Specialist and Qualified Behavioral Health Associate who specializes in re-entry and forensic peer support. She walks alongside individuals transitioning from incarceration, providing guidance, advocacy, and connection to recovery services that help them rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Tia Garrett

T.O.P. Coordinator

Tia is the T.O.P. (Transgender Outreach Program) Coordinator, providing affirming, trauma-informed support and case management for transgender individuals navigating recovery and community reintegration. Her peer-centered approach creates a safe and empowering space for clients to heal and thrive.

Michelle provides dedicated care management for women in DLBC's programs, connecting clients with resources, support systems, and recovery pathways tailored to their individual needs. Her certification in addiction treatment reflects her commitment to meeting women where they are on their recovery journey.

Marcos serves as Care Manager for Men's Programs, providing dedicated support and case management for men in DLBC's recovery programs. He connects clients with resources, peer support, and individualized pathways toward lasting stability and wellness.
